BIO of Laila Qadira Yamini
FTW Certified Health Coach, AADP
During the course of my life's journey, I suffered with chronic fatigue, mitral valve prolapse, sciatica, digestive disorders, candida and severe depression. With each ensuing challenge, I was determined not to surrender to a long term regiment of pharmaceutical drugs as often were prescribed, but to seek nutritional and holistic based solutions. Under the guidance and care of alternative practitioners as well as through my own research and "positive seeking" I developed strategies for reaching the personal dietary and holistic life goals I set, which now allow me to live in full health.
My work experience in the health care field has been as a homecare provider for the elderly, coordinator of wellness programs for a faith-based organization and as a wellness coach for New Life Horizon House Wellness Center in College Park, Ga. Through my professional training I was granted certification as a health coach by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (NYC) and received subsequent board certification from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP).
I currently offer nutrition classes, Healthy Happy Me! ™ to children throughout Metro Atlanta as well as offer individual and group coaching programs and workshops for adults.
The FTW Mission
