That is where health coaching begins -- with listening. Me listening to you. And supporting you in listening to yourself. Who you are, what you want and where you are going. And what you need to get there.  
 
Food is the foundation. Meaning, the food you put in your mouth every day and the whole array of intangible foods you consume in your relationships, your work, your bodily movements and your spiritual practice.   All of these energy forms feed you in some way and impact the direction and speed of your journey.    
 
Health Coaching is a unique, exciting innovation in health, nutrition and personal development.  As your Health Coach, I will review major dietary theories and help you discover what nutritional approach works best for you at this point in your life.
 
While most dietitians dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, I work with my clients to create happy, balanced strategies for healthy living that are flexible, fun and free of rigid rules and denial.
 
 
 
 
I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you.. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.

My Approach
 
Trained by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition [NYC], I practice a holistic approach to nutrition, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect the whole.
 
No one diet works for everyone
The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has their own nutritional needs. So, when the experts say, “dairy is good for you” or “fat is unhealthy,” it’s too much of a generalization. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets don’t work in the long run. I look at your age, health, activity level, blood type, metabolic rate and personal preferences to determine your dietary needs.
 
Everything is food
Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.
